Our Optimist Club of Yountville did a soft launch of our Generational Farming Project at the Redwood Middle School Boys and Girls Club. We welcomed eight B&G club members who took part in an Easter themed rock painting project. It was well received and joyful to watch the members both copy sample designs and create their own originals.

Our first session at Oasis by Hoopes will be April 8, 2026. We will be focusing on animal sanctuary care, feeding and safety considerations. We also plan to get some chicken and duck eggs to learn about incubation and their growth cycles and all the stages in between. We are so fortunate to coordinate with our partners: Hoopes, Napa Boys and Girls Club youth, and Elders at Rancho De Napa. We are still welcoming volunteers from the Yountville/Napa community to take part in this groundbreaking experience.
